COVID 19 Requirements: All users will need to abide by Pittwater Sports Centre and Freshstart Fitness COVID-19 Restriction Policies.

Class Bookings: All class sizes are limited to 8-10 members. Members must book into classes online via our website. Bookings open 7 days in advance. Please Note: Public holiday hours vary please call reception

Towel Requirement: All Gym users must use a towel in the gym & in the classes. It must be used to wipe down equipment after every use. If you forget your towel you can hire a towel at the reception. Towel Hire Prices: Small - $2.50, Large - $5.00

Memberships: Strength & Conditioning membership includes unlimited access to S&C classes, plus Freshstart classes (inc. Yoga and Pilates) and access to the gym during staffed hours.

Our Casual Visit Prices (Per person) Adult $35.00, Guest of a member $30.00. Student $17.50. Child (Under 16) $15.00

What is Strength & Conditioning? 

Within our Strength and Conditioning classes are members learn to effectively lift heavy weights using functional and dynamic movements. We’ve had a range of members from those that have never lifted a barbell before and are now pressing over 20Kg above their heads, to CrossFitters that are looking for a less complex style of training.

Strength and Conditioning is based on the CrossFit principle of improving every area of fitness through a mixture of functional movements paired with aerobic and metabolic conditioning. However, Strength and Conditioning does not include the more advanced Olympic lifting and gymnastics movements.

Whatever our members goals are, be it to lose weight, improve their sport, gain muscle or just meet new like-minded people, they all have one consistent thing in common and that is positive, measurable results.

How many are in a class? 

Strength and Conditioning classes are run on the gym floor and therefore are kept to small group of no more than 15. This allows the coaches to focus on each members individual needs and progress, whilst also ensuring there is equipment for every class attendee.
