Despite being a member of Freshstart for more than 8 years in total, my real fitness and weight loss journey commenced in February 2019. It was then that I realised that my head was in the right space to make some changes to improve myself.

I joined the “8 Week Weight Loss Challenge” and I’ve not looked back.

With the help and support of Kelly in regards to my nutrition, and working out consistently at Freshstart gym, I am a newer version of myself. The “Strength and Conditioning” sessions, tailored PT programmes (thanks Charlie) and scheduled classes have attributed to my results.

Not only am I down 17kgs and 11% body fat, I have gained knowledge and more confidence, met great friends, and become the strongest and fittest version of myself I have ever been as an adult that I can recall.... even after having 3 children! I sleep far better and my energy level is great. Gym has become my space where I can have some well earned “me time”.

Whilst my new lifestyle is still a work in progress, I am driven by how far I have come to help me get to my long term goals. There’s no turning back or giving up now.
